There are many moving parts in a photoshoot and we love to help our clients understand what to expect, plan, wear and over all flow of their session. Here is a list of our most commonly asked questions.

  

What are yours hours?

We work Monday- Friday and hours depending on the type of shoot and desired needs for location. Some required a sunrise or sunset and we work the hours needed to get the desired shot. We do not work weekends and if that is requested we charge our after hour rate.

 

What do you need before a photo session?

A positive attitude and willingness to have fun! Photos can be nerve wracking we totally get.

 

What payments options do you offer?

I accept several types of payment for your convenience. This includes:

What is your address or contact information?

We have 1 studio located in Santa Cruz CA. and other sessions take place on the location that best fits the session needs. We travel all over the world creating images with the perfect backdrop.

 

How can I book a session with you

If you decided to go ahead and book a photoshoot, you can purchase the session HERE and I will contact you within 24 hours to schedule your portrait photoshoot and your first pre-session consultation. The consultation can take place either over zoom or a phone call.

An invoice with an online payment link will be emailed to you – this will cover your pre-consultation, storyboard and styling guides. 

You session will be officially confirmed once the booking fee has been paid.

Do you retouch the images

Yes, we do retouch the images. My professional photography started from beauty and fashion hence I have been trained in various retouching techniques used in the fashion photography around the world. I still want you to look like you and normally I do not remove all wrinkles or change body shape however if you require any non standard level of retouching, please let me know on the day of your photoshoot. Any additional retouching requested after your reveal & ordering appointment will incur in $65 charge per image.

 

How far in advance do I need to book

Your booking should be made at least 3 weeks in advance to allow a thorough preparation to your shoot however I’m usually booked fully 3 – 4 weeks in advance.

 

I’m feeling a little nervous. Who will be present during my session?

We are all female staff and on the day of your session there will be only my assistant and myself with you. The makeup artist usually leaves after the makeover unless we do some fabric draping/ throwing which happens at the beginning of the photoshoot.

 

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my session

We do allow a one time re-scheduling minimum 16 days prior to your session. Any additional reschedules will incur in second session fee. You can cancel your session if you wish to do so but your session fee will not be refunded.

 

How long will it take to complete my order

Any digital images will be released on the day of order. Any additional prints or boxes may take up to 4 weeks. Wall art will take up to 4 weeks for production and delivery.

 

Will my photos be made public

No, they will be kept private if you do not sign the release. Of course I would love to share your beautiful photos in my portfolio to help my business grow but I will respect your wish if you’d rather kept them just to yourself. 

 

Do I need to show a proof of COVID-19 vaccine or a negative COVID-19 test?

No, I do not require to see your medical history or undertaking any medical procedures in order to carry out your portrait session or in person viewing session. If you do feel unwell, please inform me as soon as possible, so we can reschedule. My team will be masked at all times to keep our team and clients safe.
