At least 720,000 hours of video are uploaded every day.

SAY WHAT?!

It has never been harder to break through the digital noise and you are probably already using video to expand your business and engage new audiences, but even the highest-quality content is only successful if people actually see it.

SEO... Well now your video is talking SEO and if you do it right your ideal customer is finding you right now.

Google is a huge center of content discovery for, well, just about everyone. In its most basic form, SEO is the process of improving your content’s visibility in search engines. But there are only so many levers brands can pull to optimize their videos for SEO.

We’re invested in the success of our video which is why we are an early adopter of Google Search’s best practices for video players. We work with Google to enable structured data submissions on all of your public videos, providing Google with additional context about your videos, and ultimately giving your videos the best opportunity to appear for relevant searches.

So how can you get above the noise besides SEO?

In the book The Brand Gap by Marty Neumeier we learn the GAP many make in the brand and also in the videos. You have to source the right team that can deliver a strong message to differentiate your brand. That will collaborate with you or another source to extract the right message.

You have 3 seconds or less to show you are innovative, that your brand is validated and that it will solve the problem the viewer didn't even know they had. When it comes down to it all there is a code to video marketing and why some work so well why others just fail. I know I personally invested over $15K in another company to make videos for me that never saw the light. In the big picture this caused me to pick up the camera and flip it to video over 8 years ago. But to build our video business we had to take a deep dive on branding and video marketing.

Listen there are two things you need to look for when hiring a video marketing company.

Are they videographers? Nothing wrong with videographers except they tend to just document what is taking place. So an example is a wedding or event. They are there to film what is taking place.

Cinematographers shape and create what needs to be told. This type of video is best for a brand regardless if it's a personal brand, business or product. The aesthetics language of feeling is key and especially in a society that's information rich and time poor. People value feeling over information and hiring the right team to do this will help your video marketing strategy be successful.

Get above the noise today... it's time!
